We are recruiting for September 2025!

The Prep Montessori Daycare, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is looking for 4 Full-Time Early Childhood Educators (ECE II) to be Teaching Assistants in our Infant Program. 

You will be a part of a dynamic group of educators comprising of Early Childhood Educators (II & III), Experienced Montessori Teachers, and Trained Child Care Assistants.

Your job description is to:

• Provide a warm, caring and safe environment for all the children in your care
• Follow all the policies and procedures of The Prep
• Communicate with parents & colleagues in person, over the phone, and via an app
• Attend monthly staff meetings
• Complete daily cleaning duties as assigned

You will take direction from and report to:

• The Classroom Teacher, your designated Supervisor, the Office Manager, and the Director. 

You must possess the following (BEFORE APPLYING):

• An ECE II designation in Manitoba 
• A Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
• A Clean Criminal Record Check
• A Clean Child Abuse Registry Check

The wage for this position is: $19 - $20 an hour. 

We are accepting out of province applicants and will write employment letters for Permanent Resident (PR) applications as required.

If you are not an ECE II in Manitoba, you will not be considered for this position, however we do recommend you keep your eye out for MACTE, AMI and CCA postings in the future.
